Bix 020 (Balm) Coaches
The Bix 020 coaches (designated as Balm in the 1960s and 1970s) are four-axle, open-space second-class passenger coaches from the Czech Railways fleet. They were manufactured between 1958 and 1969 by Vagónka Studénka.
History
Originally, these coaches were intended as trailer cars for Class 820 motor coaches. However, due to a shortage of trailer cars, they were also used with motor coaches of all series (830, 820, 850) and even operated as standalone trains behind locomotives.
