Roco 71239 Electric locomotive S 499 .2002, CSD [R71239]

This model represents the 2nd generation of universal electric locomotives developed by Skoda for the Czechoslovak State Railways (CSD) starting in the late 1970s. The letter "S" stands for alternating current (AC). Two prototype locomotives were delivered in 1984 for extensive testing. With an hourly output of 3,060 kW and a top speed of 120 km/h, these machines (later designated as Class 263) were utilized for both express and freight services.
