PIKO 50749 Steam Locomotive Class 335.1, CSD - H0

Prototype:
Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD) class 335.1 steam locomotive in Era III operational status (former German class 91.3 DRG / Prussian T 9.3). This versatile locomotive from the golden age of railways was successfully deployed for both freight and passenger duties, as well as demanding shunting services.

Model:
This PIKO Expert series steam locomotive leaves nothing to be wished for and meticulously captures all structural and visual details of the prototype machine. The cab roof is authentically rounded, and through the windows, you can admire the intricately detailed interior. Numerous free-standing components, such as the whistle on the roof, the bell on the boiler, authentic lamps, and realistic piping demonstrate model engineering at the highest level. The same quality applies to the running gear, which features finely die-cast wheels and delicate brake rigging.

The DC model is equipped with a digital interface PluX16 (NEM 658) for easy decoder installation. The locomotive can also be retrofitted with a dedicated sound decoder (PIKO #56643). The directional lights change white/white according to the direction of travel. The model is designed for a minimum radius of 422 mm and comes with a NEM coupling pocket and two traction tires for increased pulling power.
